FIRST MENTION OF WORSHIP
The first time ever that Worship was mentioned in the Bible was in Genesis 22:5 when Abraham brought his son, Isaac, The promise he had been waiting for 25 years, to Mount Moriah and told his two servants who were with him on the journey, “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.” He had intended to surrender all – sacrifice his one and only son of The Promise, and so worship at the first mention was synonymous with sacrifice, surrendering all, just as FATHER GOD gave HIS One and only Son, ADONAI YESHUA.
BUILDING A WORSHIP ALTAR UNTO THE LORD – A PERSONAL REVELATION
In coming up with this business, it has been a journey of building an altar unto the LORD which spoke of sacrificial giving, faith and surrender. That was the Revelation of WORSHIP, beyond a dance, a song, or the sound of Praise. I do not pretend that it was easy because unlike what I had experienced before, this was constant fasting and unusual and extravagant sowing which invited even mockery and ridicule from fellow believers who did not believe this was the way of The LORD and condemned it as foolishness and error, at best, poor business sense but on a more unkind note, pronounced this as unsoundness, I became suspect that there was something wrong with me. It meant going against the natural order to give when you have not received and have nought; monies, blessing others with the Heavenly gifts even before any sale was transacted and over and over again sowing first fruits to ministries. The LORD was doing a processing of my heart. I do not profess in any way that I have acquired or possess a Heart of Worship but sharing my sojourn in climbing up ‘Mount Zion’. It is not painless nor without struggle but the beauty to this was that with each extravagant giving, it killed the self and broke the fear and the reluctance in me, I was set free even though in the natural I should have been worried about my circumstance and with the slander of who were supposed to be my friends, by HIS Grace, PRAISE GOD, HE taught me to let go and let GOD. Several times HIS Word that came was : For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:21, Luke 12:34).
In the ultimate as HE perfects us for HIS Coming, HE wants that HIS Church will be willing to surrender all, withholding nothing, thus the key is obedience. HIS objective is to bring us to a place where we can let go and not be possessed by money, possessions, situations or positions.
BUILDING THE ARK
When YESHUA comes to restore all things unto HIMSELF, there will also be another new beginning. How many will make it ? So we must start building the Ark, for some it will be to continue building the Ark, for some, it will be perfecting it, the Ark being ourselves as HIS Holy Habitation. And this comes with a fasted life of repentance, purity, holiness and humility, in total surrender, yielded-ness and submission to Our Creator, fixing our eyes on YESHUA, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Hebrews 12:2.
“..it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:16
WORSHIP involves sacrifice
Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 12:1 that “…in view of GOD’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to GOD – this is your spiritual act of worship….”
WORSHIP is a lifestyle
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the Name of ADONAI YESHUA, giving thanks to GOD The FATHER through HIM.” Colossians 3:17.
WORSHIP is living to glorify GOD
“ Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for The LORD, not for men,” Colossians 3:23.
WORSHIP is in Spirit and in Truth
To Worship HIM in Spirit is to be led not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit of GOD “because those who are led by The Spirit of GOD are sons of GOD. “ Romans 8:14.The Spirit will give us the Revelation of Christ and what is to come, as HE will lead us to YESHUA for “when HE, The Spirit of Truth comes, HE will guide you into all truth..….and HE will tell you what is yet to come.” John 16:13. When we worship HIM in Spirit, we are worshipping not with our carnal nature nor human understanding but in the Power of HIS Anointing. That anointing will illuminate the Word and reveal Christ. “But you have an anointing from the Holy one, and all of you know the truth”. 1 John 2:20. “ as for you the anointing you received from HIM remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as HIS Anointing teaches you about all things and just as that anointing is real, not counterfeit – just as it has taught you, remain in HIM.“ 1 John 2:27.
To worship HIM in Truth, is to live in HIS Word because HE is The Word. John 1:1 reveals “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was GOD.” Truth is found in HIS WORD. “Sanctify them by the truth; Your Word is Truth.” John 17:17. “you are already clean because of the Word I have spoken to you.” John 15:3
WORSHIP is living a life of obedience.
Adonai YESHUA said, “ If you love ME, you will obey what I command.” John 14:15. “Those who obey HIS Commands live in HIM, and HE in them. And this is how we know that HE lives in us: We know it by The Spirit He gave us.” 1 John 3:24
THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE ARK
The Ark of The Covenant was the only piece of furniture in the (Most Holy place) Holy of Holies of the Tabernacle of Moses which GOD instructed Moses to build. It was visited only once each year by the High Priest, on the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for the sins of the people. This was the most solemn ceremony of the Hebrew worship.
The Ark was a very important part of Israel’s identity. It was a symbol that GOD was among them, HIS People and that HIS Covenant blessing was resting among them. It was the most sacred and glorious Instrument of the sanctuary, constructed of shittim (acacia) wood 21/2 cubits long and 11/2 cubits high overlaid with gold and embellished with a crown of gold extending around the chest upon the top edge. 4 rings of pure gold were set in the 4 corners, 2 on one side and 2 on the other, through which were passed wooden staves overlaid with gold used in carrying the sacred chest.
The Ark represents :- 1
The Throne of GOD on earth
The Presence of GOD in Christ, by The Spirit in the midst of HIS Redeemed People
The Glory of GOD revealed in Divine order and Worship
The Fullness of The Godhead Bodily revealed in ADONAI YESHUA HAMASHIACH (Colossians 1:9; 2:9) All that The Ark was to Israel in the Old Testament, ADONAI YESHUA is to HIS Church, Spiritual Israel in the New Testament.
Thus HIS Dwelling was The Tabernacle around which the Israelites camped. During the time of Joshua however, only the Ark of The Covenant remained. We are now HIS Temple – Christ in us, the hope of Glory. Colossians 1:27
2 In 1 Samuel 6:19-20, GOD struck down some of the men of Beth Shemesh, putting 70 of them to death because they had looked into the Ark of YAHWEH. In Numbers 4:20 THE LORD had warned Moses and Aaron “But the Kohathites must not go in to look at the holy things, even for a moment, or they will die.”
By taking the mercy Seat (cover) apart from the rest of the box, (The Commandments), the people had placed themselves apart from the mercy of YAHWEH and they had placed themselves under judgment. And thus they were killed because they separated the mercy from the commandments.

As it was in the days of old, The Ark is allowed to be carried only by the Levites and in a prescribed way, so too, this day, we HIS People are The Ark carriers, carrying HIS PRESENCE, HIS POWER, HIS GLORY. Reverence is required and holiness to carry The Ark. .We need to live in obedience to HIS WORD
15 If you love ME, you will obey what I command 16 And I will ask The FATHER and HE will give you another Counselor to be with you forever – 17The Spirit of Truth. John 15: 16-17
Inside The Ark of the Covenant are Aaron’s Rod, The Bowl of Manna and The Ten Commandments
This speaks of Authority, Mandate, the Supernatural, Provision and Supply and The Power of The WORD, ADONAI YESHUA HIMSELF in The PRESENCE of The Most High GOD.
